I completed every level up to 11 then failed 12 because i was only unable to do the typewriter pullups, so which level do i go back to?
go back to 8
James Jensen,
i would say if you have problems with the typewriter pull ups you could also do the "armstrong" program. just google for it, it is a 7 day workout challenge which will improve your pull ups! :-)
I also read on the forum, i think it was gligor, that you can split the levels up. For example you passed the level 12 with all the leg, pull ups and core exercises but the push ups are still a proble. you might go to the next level for core and legs but go one level back for your back exercises. do you understand my point? Because i think it is not necesarry going back to easier progressions, lets say leg exercises, when you pass the level and only your upperbody is the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion i will definitely check out that challenge. But i think i will just keep it simple by going back to level 9 without splitting up the exercises because they are also pretty tough at this level when doing max sets/reps on the program!
Yeah, I mentioned this before. If you failed on Push or any other muscle group, go back to level 9 or 10(my recommendation) on the muscle group that you failed. But keep moving up levels on the muscle groups that you didn't fail. There's no reason why you should slow yourself down on the other muscle groups. I suggest rotating around levels 9, 10, and 11 until you can do level 12. Good luck!💪
Alright ill give that a shot, thanks for the help!
