I was wondering if practising the impossible dip would help me for the muscle up, especially the transition part because it seems like the same movement. I'm currently in that chicken wing muscle up phase and I'm already training explosive pull ups,so what is your opinion guys ? Will the impossible dip help ?
First tip, don't do chicken wing muscle ups. At all. You can and probably are getting hurt. You may not realize but you are. Keep practicing explosive pull-ups and straight bar dips and tigerbend and shuttle push-ups. Other than that, the overhand grip where you got your wrist over the bar in the beginning might help you progress. Remember to kip your legs at the upper most part of your pulling motion. Just before you reach it, Kip up! You can even start with a swing if you'd like. Wrist movement really is key. Once you get that down, you the man.πͺπΌπ
