Hey Chris, as i saw in your video for muscle up negatives, you seem to do the transition from over the bar to below the bar really really slowly, but i am able to do the top negative, going from lockout of arms above the bar into chest touching the bar, but going from your chest touching the bar to the pull up position transition (over to below the bar) i just drop, its nearly impossible for me to do it as slow as you did, how can i improve my transition from above the bar to under the bar negative?
That's normal
The first time you maybe can't do them slow but if you do this level longer you can do then slower :)
Keep it up
Exactly what he said (y)
If you're still experiencing that same problem, my trick was to focus on going extremely low in the straight bar dip, rather than focusing on the transition, which comes naturally if u just go very low.
Just some personal experience, might or might not help. Good luck!
oh okay thanks a lot :D
Also michael, use a resistance band if you have one. If you don't have one, I HIGHLY suggest you invest in one. It really helps you get the feeling for muscle ups that you could not get normally.
