If I'm not sore the next day, then the exercise I'm doing is really working for me?? I mean I have been doing all sets and reps ( for example 3-6 sets of 8-10 reps of dips and I do the 6 reps of 10 dips)
You mean 6 sets of 10. You do max. Well, just make sure you have correct form. If you do and your doing max sets, then go up levels. Simple as that. Soreness is strange, sometimes it's invisible and sometimes it's the world's biggest megaphone with the hulk shouting at the other end to you to keep going!
