Okay, my question to anyone that can answer. Does intermittent fasting lose a lot of muscle?
Firstly, intermittent fasting is like: 12-20 hours fasting (including sleep), 4-12 eating. I usually do around 15-16 hours of fasting.
I suppose about muscle loss it depends on what/how much you eat during the "eating window", but..
So far I have lost 4KG of fat in roughly 2 weeks, and I can do a lot more pull ups, push ups, and you name it, any body-weight exercise. Surprisingly enough, I actually have more energy while eating a bit less (caloric deficit) to lose fat..
Should I continue with this or is it bad for the future?
Haven't got any experience but one thing I know is that i'd never be fasting. I don't get all these silly diets etc. Just eat healthy etc instead. My upcoming Nutrition Program will explain everything! But maybe it works for you, can't say
Aha, thank you Chris! I suppose I'll do it a bit more till I lower my body-fat and then just try my best to eat healthy.
