What is the best progression for learning the pull-up? From easiest / most beginner up to full pull up?
The order I am thinking is

Pull-up Negatives
Australian Pull-ups
Pull-up Holds
? (Feel like I'm missing another)
Full pull-up.

I am having difficulty progressing to full pull-ups. I think I can maybe do one rep max, but not sure if all the way entirely over bar.
Should I just be trying full pull-ups now? What level would I / should I be at in this case? Any help much appreciated! Cheers

Well you can do the level that involves pull ups for the first time (I think it was level 4), and do your best on doing the one pull up with proper form and then finish the remainder of the reps with negatives. Do that for each set of Pull ups till you can do all the required sets&reps. If the bar is low enough a progression that you might have forgotten is jumping pull ups where you jump from the ground but still use your muscles to pull yourself up (meaning you don't jump with full power). And I would personally put Australian Pull-ups slightly easier than negatives..

I'll try giving it a shot, also my gym has an assisted pull up machine. What about trying that? Or should I stick with doing negatives or trying the jumping pull ups ?
