So I have been training calisthenics for 2 months now (started Chris's program a month ago though) and I am not seeing results! I can barely do 3 pull ups at Max , my dips are so bad.. nor do I see any strength gain and I have also been eating a lot , 3500 calories a day with 180 grams of protein daily ! Help
Okay bro first of all it takes a really long time to see results. I know, you're giving all out and you don't see gains. If you are patient enough, you will start seeing results eventually, I can't tell you when or how. Now my guess is that you do after all have some improvement in your body, it's just that we expect to see HUGE improvements in a little time because of all the hard work we seem to be doing. Two months is not a long time at all, try at least half a year if not even a year to see strength gains. Look at a transformation in years, and don't count the days but make the days count. Not everyone will progress the same, it might take someone 4 months to get the muscle up, it might take another person 2 years. And through trial and error you will find if you are mistaking nutrition or your workouts or if it just takes more time. Patience is key man. Three pull ups is not even that bad honestly, I mean for someone who is working for 5 years it's gonna be very bad, but for a beginner it's completely fine. I remember I couldn't do one pull up, let along 3 pull ups lol.
Yeah I guess I should be patient.
Yeah I guess I should be patient.
Yeah, don't worry too much. If you haven't already, take a picture now and then once per month for the next 4-6. If you keep doing what you're doing and putting effort into every workout, you'll see results. I only realized how much I was changing around 3-4 months in.
