Yeah Justin is right. When I did the 12 week barbrothers dc program I always did max sets and reps, but even in the 12th week I couldn't do one. Until three days ago when I realized that it was pretty much all about the form. Put your thumbs over the bar and instead of having your hands beside the bar, put them over or on top of the bar. It worked for me that way. Also remember to stretch your forearms and wrists(very important). Let's go get that muscle up bro!!!
