I can hold an L sit for about 10 seconds, but never really any longer. I see numerous tutorials online on how to do an L sit, but none on how to hold one for a longer duration of time. I train it enough that I would expect results, but my max holds don't seem to be improving. I usually do 5 sets of almost a max hold, and often use ankle weights at a lower angle to gain strength. I usually train this 5 times a week, which I know wouldn't usually be recommended, but have been told to by a couple people because ab training is different. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Its easy mate, i increased my L sit by just doing 1 set everyday. Do 1 set of L sit everyday and hold till failure, and next day try to beat your previus record even if its by 1s or 2s.. it still counts :D easy
EDIT: I was like you before or even worse, could hold maximum 5s but now i can hold 60s+
