So I have found it difficult and odd to bulk up for a certain amount of months and then to cut down. I do not want to bulk for awhile and get fat. So I have found that bulking for 2 or 3 weeks and then cutting for 2,3 weeks works.
I starting following this 3 weeks ago and now in 1 week of cutting. I believe I have good results from this! (for just the first time trying it) On my cutting weeks I will have only 2 fruits and 1 complex carb. With normal high protein intake and healthy fats. Has anyone tried this?
From looking at Chris's transformation video it seems he never bulks up and builds lean muscle.
Thanks guys!
Well, the truth is that you don't need to bulk. As long as you eat what you need to eat, nothing more, nothing less. I have never bulked up, and I look great man. So do many others that haven't bulked up. Eat only what you need to get maximum results without bulking. Of course bulking is an option, but personally, I don't recommend it.
Do you count calories, carbs, or fats? Or do you just get the right amount of protein and eat healthy?
I don't count calories, I'm an ectomorph, I'll burn them anyway. I actually measure grams. I eat 4 fruits, 2 vegetables, at least 135 grams of protein per day, 3 liters of water, and good amount of "good" carbs in one day. I never had needed anything else. I eat five small meals a day and it has worked out so far for the last 4 months of calisthenics. So my advice is to watch Chris's video on nutrition on YouTube.
