Hi guys would I be able to get advice for the muscle up because I still can't do a muscle up. What is the best exercise to train for. Or do I need to get a new bar because I don't think I'm able to do it with this bar.

I have watched your video and I'm going to apply this to my training. Should I do this every second day for before my exercise
Tiger bend push-ups and shuttle push-ups also help.
Try putting your palm of your hand on top of the bar for the muscle up instead if beside the bar for pull-ups. Also, try putting your thumb over the bar as well. BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!!! BarBrothers ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! Salute!!!
I actually wouldn't recommend putting your thumb over the bar, but hey - its all a matter of preference. Putting the thumb under the bar maximizes the strength of the grip so it's easier to get over! :)

I've seen a lot of guys do it with their thumb under the bar, and personally I think that's the proper form, but it usually helps for starters. Once you get a little bit stronger and used to it, put your thumb under the bar for maximum grip control, wouldn't want anyone flying around and getting hurt would we?! I just think it's better for getting used to the movement and for beginners, but yeah, thumb under the bar is better form.

What really helped me get my first muscle up was instead of hanging from the bar and then swinging I stood a couple feet away from the bar and ran and grabbed on which gave me enough momentum to get over the bar. I hope this helps.
