Yes it works, but if you have enough experience and knowledge you could build your own program which woud suit you better, but try sicking with it for atleast 3 or 6 months before you make your own :)

Yes combined with a good nutrition plan. Took me about a year to finish it and I started doing weighted calisthenics and some freestyle stuff, then I broke my hand and some other injuries happened and now I'm getting back to it slowly. Went from 95-96KG to about 86KG (losing fat while gaining muscle, so I technically lost a lot more fat mass)
