Results depends on your genetics, how hard you workout, your nutrition etc.
The System is a little more loose, than Chris' workout program (which I use), In my opinion Chris' program is way better than The System and after having completed "The System" with almost no real result to prove for it (other than a little mental improvements), then I simply cannot recommend that to anyone, also, The System requires you to do very small workouts every single day, it's not too time consuming, but neither does it give as good results.
And nutrition, ye... lots of protein, carbs, fruit, vegetables etc., like mish said, stay away from fat and sugar and remember to eat a lot if you want to gain muscle.
