Hey guys, i am on vacation and i have a pullup bar where ill be living for the next month, only problem is its pretty thick, is there anything i can do to make it easier to do pullups on a thick bar? Im forced to have my thumb go over the bar where my fingers are, instead of wrap it around the bar for a grip.
And if i were to be able to do about 7 pullups on a thick bar, does that mean when i get back to my normal bar at home ill be able to do a lot more pullups on a normal bar? Since the grip would be easier?
And one more question please ;)
Since there is no low bar is there a substitute exercise for australian pullups? i cant do front lever pullups.
Thanks guys! Appreciate it
Thick bar training is fine. If you want to do australians, try wrapping a towel around the bar and do AP's in the towel :)
