Hey guys ! I am now at level 12 and soon as you know I am gonna be at level 13 and I need to be able to do muscle ups but I cannot do them. I know that the tiger bend push up is a great exercise for learning it but I was wondering how to combine it with Chris's workout? Any tips ?
Try until you do it...u have to make some ..( a lot) very wrong form muscle-ups until u can do a "normal" (perfect) one. Tiger bend push-ups and any hardcore triceps ex are great and "milions" of pull-ups and dips...if you did until lvl 12 max sets and max reps than after one more weak if u make some lil changes in ur workout so u make more triceps and pull-ups and dips(even the program include a lot of them) you will be able to do muscle-up BUT
My most important tip is to try..Try until u learn to movement ..and a movement tip try to rise one of your hand into smth like a bar dip and then try to elevate ur body while keeping that first hand in the "final" position ( sry for my bad eng..i cant explain exercises that well in eng )

Yea try to get the chicken wing muscle ups first (one arm first), and then actually do pull ups to chest to see how it feels with both hand at once, and just trying like Cechichan said. You can either add extra pull ups but to chest, or you can for example, have 4-6 sets of 6-10 pull ups, try to do some of the reps as high as you can, it really helps the pull part (even though push is more important indeed, you still need the pull strength to be pretty good).
Thanks bro ! I can do the chicken wing muscle up but when it comes to the normal one I pull myself to the chest but I think I lack the tricep strength to finish it but I am gonna work on it. Salute !
You can also try a muscle up on a low bar to get this feeling. Find a bar that is around your belly button or chest, catch it as you would be doing pull ups but keep your legs on the ground and as slowly as you can perform a muscle up transition and then a negative and do this in sets. And if you have, you can use a rubber band to help to learn the technic

What works for me for not doing the chicken wing is when your chest is touching the bar just put al the weight to the front and you'll be up there with the bar on your belly button ( with a little bit of strenght, of course). Because really, for me the muscle up is more technique than strenght ( not the in the sctrict one obviously). Oh and other thing, when you are swinging try to like get the head out of the arms when you are frontwise. Good luck
