So I had a wrist injury(non workout related) a while ago and am getting surgery on it in a couple days. Point is I'm looking for some upper body excersizes I can do with zero wrist use. Ty

Hello Terminator,
Please talk with your doctor, he has probably the best answer for you. it is allways hard to give advice because we don't no the intensity of your injury.
You have to leep in mind that your hands are both the most mobile and they are also the point which has to deal with a lot of pressure when you you workout your upper body - in short - you use your hands a lot. Talk to a physiology trainer, i am pretty sure after your sugery you have to do some physiotherapy.
I would recommed you to go swimming.
Don't start to early with upper body exercises, it would be very sad if you hit them to hard and to early - it will just causes a longer break again!
However you don't have to lose the motivation:-D Can you do pistol squads? If no, tadaaa, here is your new goal for the month you can't workout your upper body probably :-)
Like allways, step by step Terminator
salute from germany!
Addition:
When you have the possibility to go to a gym or fitness center you can work with the machines. I think there are some machines which offer you the option to workout your muscles without hitting your wrist to much.
Maybe try push ups on handles to see if it will hurt a lot, of course you don't want to continue if it hurts! Can't think of anything else, swimming might be good as Josef said, but be careful, it irritates my tennis elbow a little bit, I don't know about wrist.
Thnx guys I'm getting surgery on the sixth and I will be unable to use my wrist for a minimum of 8 weeks. Although I think swimming will be a good option I will do legs and core for a while and begin the program after I'm healed Ty for the support.
