Chris after the pull and push workout etc. I am doing 10 min boxing just to get my punches faster its ok or its too much workout for my arms?
idk about 10 min. but if you do another sport you have to eat more
Hey stavroseleftheriades!
Punching is great? But what do you mean exactly with 10 min boxing?
Do you work with a sandbag? Do you just do shadowboxing? Freestyle? Correct form?
And please, i don't want to judge you but chris can't simply answer this question? He has no idea about your fitness level, maybe you are completely destroyed after a workout and cant even do the required reps in the last set, maybe it is the other way round and you are really hitting the workout.
it is like very often, listen to your body.
Personally i would say it is ok, because the punches recruit the musclens in a different way. But i would not do 10 minutes after every workout. Do maybe 2 times the week 20 min of a shadowboxing workout and add some footwork like bouncing or moving from side to side. tada, there you have a kind ot toal workout just by some shadowboxing. If you have a sandbag, include it! Your punches will get stronger.
Looking forward to hear from you
I am working with a sandbag i am doing 10 minutes boxing (2 :30 min combinations+2:30 fast punches and 2:30 min each arm punches). after my back, biceps, chest, triceps, shoulders workout and than i do the other stuff legs and abs
What i was wondering its if its too much workout for my arms and my wont grow as fast because cause the rest isnt enough for that workout.
But if it was too much i was not going to build strength either right?
As long as you recover on the day after and feel fresh when you start your next upperbody workout, there is nothing to say against it. you will feel it yourself. when you are to tired, then do a workout with out the punching. just listen to yourself. but in the moment i would say that is ok!
I am doing it for a long time and i am progressing real good i just wanted to be sure about it. Thanks
It's probably completely fine. But you have to listen to your body and hear what it tells you.
Ok.Thanks! But for the past 2,5 months i havent build muscle only strength and i dont know whats wrong and i was wondering if its that but i dont think so!
1:My diet is good i eat 1200 calories above my DIM
2:I eat after workout a full meal and an egg sometimes with a shake( natural ingredients no protein powder)
3:i dont know if im getting enough protein but i eat foods that are high in protein
4:i rest properly my workout is on point for muscle building
Should i stop doing fullbody workouts and try 2 day splits or 3 day splits it will be very helpful if you answer!!
hi, maybe you are not eating enought protein, or maybe your body takes more time to recover and you are overtraining it...
2 solutiones:
check out your macros intake or listen to your body
