when I do the crunches I don't feel any pain in my abs. anyone have some tips?
I had that thing at start. Try to keep your lower back on the ground at all times, always have your abs flexed and kinda sucked inwards, and many people go too upwards when doing the crunches, try to just go forward if you know what I mean, that way you will feel the burn in the abs.. At least helped me, maybe other guys have something else to say. :)
