So i have a little pullup bar in my room, just got it, today i'm doing leg and core, yesterday was upperbody, so today i was supposed to rest, but throughout the day i've already done about 50 chinups and just messing around, but i was supposed to rest, but i just can't help myself, i just need to go and do like 5 chinups, then i'll start feeling good :D
Any advice? Muscles need to rest so.. :(
I feel you bro, rest days suck but muscles need to rest, what i do is that if i wanna train on rest days i focus on other muscle groups other than upper body for example legs so i won't get tired ..or i just do some cardio like football and stuff ...

If doing those chin ups on your rest days interferes with your main workout the following day, I would advice you to stop it all together and just go hard on your workout days. Sometimes, doing pull ups regularly on different times of the day (20-60% max pull up) NOT ALL TOGETHER AT A TIME does work your neuromuscular efficiency thus increasing the efficiency of recruiting more muscle fibers during the pull up. Those pull ups MUST NOT FEEL TIRING OR EXHAUSTING OR TAXING.
All in all, if doing pull ups on your rest days prove counterproductive, I recommend you to drop it all together especially if you have a pull burnout set the day before.
