Hey Chris I was wondering if you knew how to fight or protect yourself. And if you do could you make some videos on it?
Hahaha, I thought about it too. I mean, it would seem to me like a waste(of course it isn't) to have a body👌 and not use it for a sport or a martial art or something. But then again, training people(personal trainer) and being an inspiration to people is really one of the best if not the best to do with that kind of body.
Well said :D I just joined the program and I plan on taking it very seriously, btw Dan. I see you everywhere on the forums so I'll definitely be talking to you again xD
I did train Aikido for some years, but you want martial arts advise from someone else than me I can assure you :)
Well Daniel, I've though about that as well. I trained basketball for 2 years and I lost the connection with it and I got fat (doesn't matter). Tbh, I think calisthenics is tougher than any sport you will ever do, it's not for everyone, I've trained with my cousin, he gave up. But the people that do continue with it, they train their body, but I think the mind is more important, in a way that we start seeing that nothing is impossible, whatever seemed impossible becomes possible in the future, and we excel more than others, and then the same principles go for not only calisthenics, but for relationships, business and all those perspectives of life. Calisthenics gives you confidence, and the best thing, when hard time comes in life, you already have the strong mind. And tbh, I think calisthenics as a sport itself, and you can go on tournaments to win some rewards so it's not a waste (but like you said of course it isn't), and inspiration is like the best thing to do like you said.
Lol Chris, it'd be funny to see you give us advise though XDD.
Yeah bro, I totally agree with you.
