Bro, have you ever trained calisthenics before? If you're a beginner..............first and foremost, congrats! And second of all, you need to understand that you're body isn't used to this type of training. Your ligaments and joints are going to hurt, every ounce of muscle will hurt as well. This is calisthenics, you will train every muscle in your body, you will train muscles that you never even thought you had💪🏼. But just be patient, give it time, and give it your absolute best on every single workout! I had a brother with a body like yours, you're tall as well aren't you? My reccomendation to you, stay at the lower levels, slowly progressing. Don't focus on building muscle, focus on losing fat, alright? You are still building muscle anyway, but what you need to do is very simple............... lose fat. How? Nutrition and cardio. Get a well balanced meal, well balanced on carbs, protein, and fats. Eliminate bad sugars(candy, soda, cake, muffins, cookies, ice cream, and all sorts of "goodies") for a while, disintoxicate the body a little bit. Drink at least two liters of water a day. Personal reccomendation: green tea and apple slices with cinnamon. Then what's next? Cardio!!! Do cardio at least 3 times a week. If you don't know what exercises are best: jogging, cycling, or, my personal favorite, Chris's fat-burning routine. By doing these things, you will A. Lose fat-B. Work out your muscles, preparing them for what's next.............BEAST MODE.
Well, I know you didn't ask for my advice on this topic but I went ahead and gave it, lol. Hope you reach your goals and give 110% on every single workout!!! BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!!! Calisthenics Unity ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! Salute!!!
Great advice. Your muscles and body are adjusting to calisthenics. Just what I was going to say, focus on losing the fat off, will make a lot of exercises easier (hence BODY-WEIGHT exercises) and you'll be even more ready for calisthenics. While you should push yourself, I think overweight people should be careful, higher chance of injury, since you will put more pressure on your joints every time you do something, found out that when I was more overweight. And don't try to run when you can barely walk with calisthenics, take the basics as a serious thing. But as Daniel said your ligaments, joints, and muscles are going to get stronger. Cardio is not needed but makes fat loss a lot easier, I've been following Millionaire Hoy's videos on YT for the past week (his 35 minute jump rope pure cardio 500 calorie burn), but whatever works for you is what you should do. Just eat in a caloric deficit, easy way to approach it is to make simple healthier choices like Daniel stated.
Thanx for all. Yea changed my diet and addet cardio 3 days a week. Sadly it takes time but im getting there. Thanx.
