Im thinking about going to the gym to work my calves they dont really grow im doing wighted one leg calve raises but im doing a lot of reps cause is easy and variations so im gaining mostly strength!What do you guys think?
Lol, Bro, I wouldn't know what to suggest. I mean, if you're already doing wide, close, regular, one leg, weighted, and other variations.......then I'm out of suggestions. You also need to realize that genetics play their part as well. I know some guys who work their legs well and just don't gain size in the calves. They're mighty strong though.
I would definitely recommend doing weighted calve raises. Get a weightbelt and a heavy weight! :) For growth you want it to be so heavy that you can only do 8-12 reps in 1 set.
Yes,i know (hypertrophy))but thats why i need to go to the gym i dont have heavy weights.i have max 17kg but the weigths are in a regular bag and if i have it on my back for some minutes it hurts but i will think about getting a weigthed vest its expensive but its worth it!The weightbelt wont touch into the ground during calve raises?And thanks!
Depends how long the weight belt is of course. Weighted vest is great too, but don't pick the cheapest.
No,ill buy the 30kg one its the better its a bit more expensive than the 10kg but its worth it cause i can use the weight that i want and use it in the future too cause its 30 kg.
