I just started and am on lvl 1... i dont know if im doing the reverse dips right. When i do them i get incredible pain in the centre point of my ribs. Is this normal?
Definitely doesn't sound normal. I would suggest visiting a doctor or physiotherapist before progressing any further with the program.
It doesn't sound normal but it is normal, I had that too. It's not dangerous, it will go overtime when you get used to the dip movement. Don't be scared.
He said it was in the "center point" of his ribs. Thats not the same as this video is about :)
Chest pain is normal yes..
Oh nevermind then haha. I thought it's the same thing. I mean, I had center of chest pain (not the muscle - pecs), but like the center ribs as well at the start, so I don't know if that's the same center point of ribs he is referring to.
its the exact centre point between the area where the ribs end on both sides. but its slightly different type of reverse dip though. if u search up how to reverse dip on youtube u will see it. i searched it up because this way u can do at home. it feels like the ribs are concaving
Well all I know is when I pressed on my chest bone, like exactly in the middle where the ribs are and not the muscles, it hurt me a lot, and it went away overtime.
Chris suggested go to a doctor, explain to him what you did, where it hurts, and listen him out.
idk maybe its just because my bones are fairly weak due to my meningitis at a young age but this pain only hurts with the reverse dips. i did this exercise yesterday and i can still feel some pain its real unusual.
Bro, ho see w Doctor. I used to have chest pain doing dips as well, it'll go away. But this is different, get yourself check out.
