I was wonder what is better. Doing negatives or doing the exercise with a resistance band.
No one is better. There are advantages with each.

You can't really compare, you can do a fullbody workout with Resistance band, they are not only for helping in certain exercises, they can be used fully on their own, sometimes I do band bicep curls, sometimes that is even tougher than using weights or your own bodyweight.

Do both. Usually bands and negatives are for getting strong enough for the exercises, but they also help with developing the correct form, mechanic, technique. Do both.
