First of all, hello to what seems to be a wonderfull community.
I only joined yesterday and I was so pumped to start working out with the different levels.
I did normal issolation fitness for about 3 years at an average frequency (around 2-3 times a week)
I started the workout at level 6, since I thought that level suited my skill pretty well.
My push exercises went very well and I was able to max out everything just fine.
But when I got to the pull exercises it was so daaaamn hard... I managed to do an average amount of reps with average reps.
I feel like my pulling strength is just so much weaker then my pushing strenght...
Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem, so that my push and pull exercises progress at the same rate?
Thanks in advance, Calisthenics Unity, all day, everyday from now on!!!
Well, first of all, welcome. Second, to fix a problem first spot the problem. Your push and pull aren't leveled/balanced, per se. Now we don't want to lower the input of the push exercises, keep doing max sets and reps; but what you do want is to raise pull, work on it more than any other(effort-wise of course). Don't pay any other body part less attention of course. Just push yourself more in pull, work on the exercises, give 110% on those! I would recommend doing pull before push, definitely. I'll be a while before you level/balance your pull up to your push, but it can be done. And sorry, no, there's isn't just one exercise or trick or tip to help you. Just determination, pacience, hard work, and go Beast Mode on them pull exercises. You got this Bro, go get em. BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!!! Calisthenics Unity ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! Salute!!!
Great reply from Daniel !
