Hello guys! I'm new here and I have a question. When I buy his workout program can I do this at home or do I have to go to a gym ? Thanks for helping me.
Well for the work out you need a pull up bar and parallel bar for dips the other parts need no other equipment... well there might pop up something else you need as you go to the higher levels (advanced. But if there is a park or something where you can find a pull up bar and a parallel bar, then you don't need to go to a gym.
Okay thank you :)
Great reply from Martin !
Also, you don't really need two parallel bars for dips. Eleven months into training and I've never used them, I use chairs but you can use something else. Most exercises you can do at home if you have a bar, other than that, it would be useful to find a park nearby that has bars like Martin said. Good luck!
For dips how exactly you do the chair dips I heard chair dips cant beat bar dips as it is more difficult so I was wondering if it really works as an alternative to bar dips.
Chair dips are exactly the same as parallel bar dips, well, that depends the chairs. At least for me they are. I doubt parallel bar dips are tougher than the chair dips that I do. It depends on your dip form and the grip of the chairs mostly. But chair dips definitely work, I guarantee it!💪
It doesn't matter if you do them on parallel bar dips or chairs or branches or anything. What matters is the movement, the form, the technique. As long as your doing the same correct dip movement it doesn't matter where you do em. Was I able to explain myself well? Or did I leave something out? In other words, what other doubts or questions do you have? I hope to have answered your question!
Uhm so do you use 2 chairs or one and everytime i do dips i feel the burn in my triceps not in my chest?I thought sips worked them both. Thanks for your replies
I use two chairs. You are correct, dips do work both the tricep and the chest. Now it's pretty obvious that you'll feel the burn on the triceps; yet I don't remember feeling much of a burn on the chest. I do feel it being worked out, but not like a burn per se. What you could do to work out the chest more while doing dips is leaning forward a bit. Like leaning your chest forward. That'll definitely work the chest more, even if it's not a lot, it will work out the chest a bit more. So try that out and see how it feels. Don't expect to feel a burn, but it'll definitely work them out more.
