I got a sore throat from singing with friends on the guitar about a week ago and 2 days ago I did HIIT but I ended up getting sick/cold from the cold air. Do you guys take a few days off or do you try to keep training? I just did some light walking and I will continue once I'm 90% recovered.
Also another mini-question, what does the back lever work? Because I can do it with one leg out but it didn't seem to workout much.. I know it's more of a core exercise and I did feel some on my lower back but other than that not much.
I wouldn't know about the back lever since I've never tried it before. I got a sore throat that lasted for about 2 weeks(it was horrible, some days I couldn't even talk). Yet I worked out regardless of being sick. Do not work out outside! The cold dry air will just make your condition worse. If you have to breath warm air, breath inside your shirt or jacket for a while or while on rest time. Warm tea helps alleviate the pain and if you drink 1-2 lemons mixed with a spoon of honey and some mashed/cut garlic, it will also help in the healing process. It will be an uncomfortable time but you will definitely not regret it. Bathe in warm/hot water and breath the steam while taking your shower. Believe me, the warm/hot tea will alleviate the pain a lot. Hope you can recover soon Bro!
Thanks a lot bro. Your answer helps a lot. Just had the first nose bleed.. Dang I guess it's a sign for me not to workout while being sick haha no worries.
