In australian pull ups, should the chest thouch the bar for every rep?? (What is the range of motion??)
Depends on the bar(height). I do them on a table where I can't get my chest to the table so I get my neck to the table and look over the table. Kind of like if I was doing a pull-up. But I would say chest to bar is ideal for Australian pull-ups. If for some reason you can't, then get your neck to the table and look over the bar as if you were doing a pull-up.

It also depends on the length of your arms, focus on muscle contraction. If you have long arms there's no reason to get your chest to touch the bar if you've fully contracted the muscles before touching the bar, if that makes sense.
