Anything is good for fat loss though. Of course it will work, low carbs on rest days, higher carbs on workout days I guess, I haven't checked the video yet.
I think a lot of people rely on professional info and forget about the basics: calorie deficit, enough protein, continuous workouts (strength & cardio), eat healthy.
I think it might be a little hard to adjust to carb cycling the first week but it's definitely a good way to go. Haven't tried it but people prefer it all around the internet.
