Why does calisthenics is better than weight training?
It's not better. It's 2 different things. I'll make a video on it soon! :) Calisthenics VS Weightlifting
Hey Bugi, you simply can not answer this question. There is defenitly no black and white. of course there are some arguments for calisthenic however there are also good arguments for isolated weight training. in the end, you should find the best method for you! if calisthenics work better for you, it does not mean that wheight training is worse
Great question! I would necessarily say it's better, it depends on your goal. But I'm going to list several reasons I think calisthenics is better.
1. You can work out anywhere at anytime.
2. You can workout all your muscles and in many exercises you combine several muscle groups.
3. It's completely natural.
4. You can do calisthenics pretty much all your life without getting injured(calisthenics strengthens your ligaments and tendons as well!)
5. It DOES bring great results, after all, you got guys looking like Chris from just doing calisthenics and are completely natural.
6. It's how the human body SHOULD be worked out, you maximize your strength and can reach your physique perfection(proportionally).
7. It's completely free! (Except if you want someone with experience to guide you into becoming the best you can be physically without making newbie mistakes)
8. There are thousands of variations of exercises for many purposes(so you won't get bored)
9. No equipment needed!(the floor doesn't count, and the bar is preferential, some people use trees, ledges, roofs as bars)
10. You become more athletic(most of the exercises make you more flexible and athletic, it can even be used as parkour training or martial arts training as well)
11. It regulates and stabilizes your body fat percentage
I bet there are many other reasons but these are just the ones I could think of right now. Hope to see other guys come help me out as well!
*I wouldn't
Completely agree with Daniel and Josef. In the end it's what you prefer more, what you find better, you can get results with either, but you can also hinder any results by not having a proper nutrition haha. I actually tried weights just once when I was at my friend's house (he does weightlifting), and they definitely isolate the muscles, I did like 3x10 bicep curls with 25kg, I think with calisthenics it's a little harder to advance (especially for overweight), but that's actually funner in my opinion, because you know you'll be able to do the impossible exercises no matter how long it takes, if you put in the hard work. For me it's way more fun than just sitting there lifting weights. And Daniel, well about injuries, well sometimes there's nothing you can do about it and get injured but yeah I think it's easier to get injured with weight lifting as well.
Yeah, I meant if you do the exercises correctly hahaha. There isn't an overload unless your overweight or lifting weights that your body can't lift yet.
Yup. that's why I got injured I guess.. Overweight xD
