Calisthenics Unity

So I did a post recently asking about bulking and cutting and also asked if intermittent fasting was worth it. (Shout out to my boy gilgor for being a boss and replying so fast!). Anyways, I think i'm going to try intermittent fasting to try and get my body fast percentage from 14-15% to about 11-10% which is my goal. I was just wondering how i should do it. Like i understand the concept of don't eat in this time frame and then eat during this time frame etc etc but how much should i eat? should i eat 2800 (recommended by the calculator ty chris) or should i eat less than that? That's where I get confused. can you use intermittent fasting to gain muscle by just eating a surplus of calories in the time frame or is it counter productive to do that? and should i follow what the calculator says in terms of calories proteins etc and just eat that amount in the time I have? I am very confused :/

I wanna say thanks to Chris for being such a bro and creating this website for people like me who want to get strong and be able to do everything we have always wanted to. I am very close to being able to do that calisthenics unity requirements so Chris better get ready to put a new video up on youtube :P

Lmao thanks for the shoutout haha. Umm try following the calculator for about 2-3 weeks and see if there are changes, minor changes like veins popping out more, fat loss in arms, legs, clothes fit better, pictures. A lot of people get discouraged after 2 weeks of cutting because they still don't see their abs or pecs, that area will be the last to lose fat for most people (although you will still see changes there of course, it's just that we store the most fat there). If you do see some changes in those 3 weeks (which would be enough to see these small changes), then just keep going, if not, you need to either eat less or maybe add in a bit more cardio.

Umm, I had hard time consuming what the nutrition guide calculator suggested about the macros - protein, fat and carbs, so I made a split myself that worked for me personally. And a lot of times the calculators will probably go over-calories, like your DIM might be 2500, but the calculator goes 2700, but it's not too off. You also don't wanna be losing fat too fast (too big deficit) because it will be bad for your hormones, retaining/gaining muscle (although you should be able to quickly gain it back if you've lost some muscle, and beginners/intermediates will be able to retain all their muscle if not gain some), and it's just unhealthy and not stable. Keep a 300-500 calorie deficit.
