I have never used the nutrition calculator and I was wondering if that was a bad decision. I eat every 3-4 hours and I always make sure to include Carbs(more of this than protein), Protein(more of this than fats), and Fats(the least on my plate). I just fill my plate to where I feel satisfied. I don't go overboard and I don't eat too little; however, I feel like that's not what I should be doing in order to get the body I want. Any suggestions will be helpful.
Did I word this question weird or can it be answered?
You can go like that and see if you have any results. If you don't have any results in a month or so, you're doing something wrong with nutrition mostly. That's moderated eating, very good in my opinion. Depending on if your goal is to lose fat or build muscle, calories is the most important thing (surplus for muscle gain/deficit for fat loss), as far for macros I think you're doing great, there's no magic percentage that will work for you, me, Lazar Novovic and Chris etc. at the same time, so you can either find it yourself (what works best), or you can follow a nutrition plan (which isn't that bad, it's also great). Well I hope this is what you asked for.. lol
It all depends on two things:
1. Your soma type(ectomorph, endomorph, or mesomorph)
2. Your goal(lose fat, gain muscle, or both)
Let us know both things so that we can help you better. Salute!
