I decided to upload my journey. This will keep me honest and consistent with working out.I will upload on my rest days for something to do.
I finished level 3 yesterday and it felt pretty good. I maxed out on everything besides 7 sec up 7 sec down. On my last set I just couldn't get the last rep in to make it 6.
Today and every other rest day I am going to do cardio. Today I ran a mile and jump roped for 10 mins.
Tomarrow I am going to do level 4 and try to max out on everything.
good luck
That's great man, keep it up💪🏼
I did level 4 yesterday day and it was a killer. I had to stack wood that day for my grandma so I really felt the ab exercises and leg exercises. In push and pull category only doing the 4 sets of 10 dips were hard. The rest weren't much of a problem. Today I ran 2 mile for cardio and I look forward to doing level 5 tomorrow
That's great bro, keep it up!
Great to hear man. Keep it goin!!
Level 5. It was pretty easy, besides for wide pull ups and dips. Dips seem to be the hardest thing in the workouts so far. They are getting easier but man I really have to push it to get that last set or two in. Now the rest of the workout was pretty easy. Shoulder up downs were really easy. I must have done at least 70 on my max set. Burpees were a really good fat melter. Where I live its pretty cold right now and man the second I started doing them I was real warm. I had sweat coming out of every pore. The rest if the workout went well. Today I decide to run every other rest day because I am burning more calories than putting in if I ran every rest day. Tomorrow I will do level 6.
P.S. I loved the vlog Chris. I even made banana egg pancakes. They are really good
Great to read some progressing from a fellow training partner!:) Keep up the good work and i love to read some more:)
I didn't upload yesterday because I was sick the last few days and I didn't get to workout Wednesday because of that. I am going to try level 6 today and see how it goes
Expect some possible loss in strength! Just so you don't get dissapointed. Keep it up!
Thanks for the heads up Chris and it did help.
Ok I missed my upload yesterday but it is hard to get back into things after being sick. I did level 5 two days ago. It went good. I did notice a loss in my triceps, but they will come around. Today I will do level 6 and see how that goes.
That's good Bro, don't worry about it. Just get back to your routine and you'll be well on your way. Keep it up Bro!!!
I am back. I have been trying a split workout just to see how it felt and I am didn't really like it so Tomarrow I will be going back to the every other day. Today I looked for some indoor equipment for when its raining out or when it gets colder. Now on to the workout. I did level 7 as a split workout and that was a lot easier and it didn't take as long about 1 hour for each part. How ever I still prefer the ever other day workout schedule.
Ok now level 7 was very easy compared to all the other workouts like really bench dips. I did like the break tho from always pushing myself to my limits. Anyways Tomarrow I will do level 8 and just saying now it looked hard.
OK level 8 and 9 were really hard. for level 8 i did the max on pull exercises. push exercises were my down fall. i did 5 sets of 12 and 2 sets 10. For 7 sec up and 7 sec down i did 2 sets of 10 and then 4 sets either 8 or 7. legs went good besides for the feeling of wanting to puke but that's normal. abs also went good.
level 9 went good beside for pull and push. i did only 4 sets of 8 wide and the rest were 6 reps. for normal pull ups it went fine. for dips i did 5 sets of 12 and 2 sets of 9 or 10. the rest went good.
Ok I did level 10 and failed on the push exercises. I did max dips and diamond but could do minimum reg push ups. I have also decided to go back and forth until I can do max sets and reps of every thing. I have also added in 4 sets of 5 muscle ups with a resistance band before push exercises. Hopefully to help me achieve a muscle up. I am also excited to be getting a workout partner next week and thanks for all the support guys really means a lot.
Good to hear!
A workout partner really helps.
I won't workout today because I am practicing for my driving test Tomarrow and I just want to make sure I have everything down. I will workout Tomarrow instead
Today I have been training for around a month. I have gained close to 3 pounds already. I have not trained everyday this month but I have learned a lot. Tommarow I will do level 7 and I am going to start posting after my workouts so i remember to post.
Keep it up!
Level 7 went good no trouble on anything. I also wanted your guys opinion on practicing handstands and planches on my rest days.
Tags great man, keep it up! Depends on how sore you are. I mean, it is supposed to be a rest day hahaha. But yeah I would personally recommend practicing at least the handstand. It's more of a skill exercise than it is a strength exercise. Well, at least it is for me. Good luck!
Thanks Daniel. I am going to practice my handstand and run on my rest days.
