I'm finally starting. I've been through a few injuries this summer but I think I'm recovered enough to do it.
I'll be doing splits since I don't have time for a full workout. This board is to share my journey with all you guys, for your motivation and mine. Special thanks to Daniel answers all my questions right away. I'm 14 and around 116 pounds. I can do about 8 pull ups and 16 push ups but no dips. So to anyone with some tips on them tell me.
Thanks for the support from everyone on this forum. If you have any questions feel free to ask me I'm not the most qualified but I'll do my best to answer.

Keep working my friend and never give up ! :D I know you will be able to do dips in a short period of time !
Hey guys, yesterday I did push and pull lvl 3, I had to do dips with a resistance band and didn't quite get all the 7 second up 7 second down push ups. I'm gonna try again tomorrow and not burn myself out by doing max sets and reps on everything else. This morning I did legs and core. I didn't complete legs but I took a hike up to some cliffs after school.
Thanks for the support

That's ok Bro, think about it this way, your pushing yourself! That's how you progress! Keep it up Bro! You got this! Salute!
Yea if you give your best and still fail the level, you should still be proud that you did your best.
Terminator keep up the good work. I read that you struggled with the 7 secons up 7 seconds down push ups. oh boy, i hate this exercise so much, i can not describe it. i don't know, i can do more than 30+ push ups however when i did the first times these 7 seconds up 7 seconds down push ups i felt like a have to cry because i had not enough strength to do all the reps.
so don't worry about this!
Great to hear ! Keep it up !
Been hitting level 3,4, and 5. I had a snowboarding accident on Saturday so I will be unable to workout for a few more days. But I think I was already seeing some small gains.

It's been crazy with holidays and all but tomorrow I'm back on track. I haven't been home for 2 weeks but had an awesome time.
Hope you guys all had a great Christmas and have a happy new year.
Calisthenics Unity ( All Day Every Day ) well I'm work on the everyday part
yeah! great to have you back
I don't know when the perfect time for me to start
i'm trying to start now but i can't bcs i got tests everyday, can't find where to do pull ups and Australian push ups. 100% im gonna start around march tho it will be hot
If you want to start right away, you can use a door with a towel on top as a pull-up bar, and use a table for Australian pull-ups!
Hey Cleveland,
i think we already had this conversation about the right starting point. i have to kind of play the bad guy: move your ass!!!!! the god damn weather is definitely no excuse my friend :-)
I would say especially if you are a beginner it is way easier to work out in your room than when you are indermediate or advanced. (Because someday one somehow really need a posibillity to train the pull ups and only australian pull ups will not give an advanced body the right stimulus to adapt).
You can train your australian pull ups under your table like pur3lydriv3nc said. i did never train australian pull ups on a bar :-D (because we do not have any bars at all, i build one by myself in our garden but is for pull ups)
In the beginning, I developed all my strength using my table. and in addition i trained negative pull ups on the bar. i am pretty sure that you can do it too cleve :-)
Cleveland, i would say you should google for some resources on the internet. you can find tons of bodyweight routines which do not require a bar. i do not want to make advertising for other sides because we are here on the calisthenicunity forum, but i would say for the bodyworkoutprogramm you really need a pull up bar. if you want to start in march, use the 2 month to develope your strength by just using your room! You can do it cleve!
Ah btw, please do not use a thread from another bro for your question. do not understand me wrong, i appreciate any question when it helps all of us for the topic of the thread. But your question was kind of out of nowhere and had nothing to do with the original question at all.
I agree with Joker, but one thing: starters don't have a strong willpower & mindset so they will make excuses, that was me too especially I had even a weaker mind because I was fat and depressed and anxious you know. So I'd say take it easy but try to workout whenever you can wherever you can. Search ATHLEAN-X Back workout at home no equipment, pretty neat exercises without any equipment. I agree with Joker to start now and use 2 months to develop strength at home.
Great addition!
Hey guys I don't mind the extras there fun to read helpful for me too. I've been playing hockey 1-2 times a day and am often sore. So not getting in as many workouts as I should. Any suggestions do you guys think I should workout anyway, or take this as cardio for a few weeks.
