Hey guys! Today was my first attempt to complete the Calisthenics Unity Requirements. I finished at 2:12.
6 Muscle Ups (I did one extra on accident!)
10 Dips
12 Diamond Push-ups
5 Pistol Squats For Each Leg
6 Wide Pull-ups (on accident again) Transition to 5 Pull-ups
8 Sec. Tucked Planche
10 Sec. L-Sit on Bar

I'll be doing the Calisthenics Unity Requirements this week. I'm going to film it on HD, horizontally, and hopefully finish on two minutes while still keeping good form. Wow, just read this thread. Amazing journey Daniel. Well done! Lots of respect. How have you found having only one day off between workouts? Did you feel it was enough time for your body to recover? I am only on the trial now and this point is worrying for me. When I started out one day was enough but now I find that if I exercise the same muscle I need at least 2 or 3 days to recover, and rebuild, the muscle. Anyway, best of luck with the video!
Thank you Abrazor for your words, they are inspiring and motivating to me. Well, you might need to rest for two days if it'd the same muscle group(color on the pdf) if your new to this. Then you can start resting only one day. My personal reccomendation to you is this
Monday: Push and Pull
Tuesday: Legs and Core
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Push and Pull
Friday: Legs and Core
Saturday: Rest
And then you switch days for the next week, starting with Push and Pull on Sunday and so on and so forth. Thank you again, the video will be out next week hopefully. Hey everyone, I regret to inform you guys that I will not be filming the requirements video this week. I really really want to, and I promise you guys that it will come out soon(hopefully next week)! I've just had a hell of a week and it's been really though just to even trainπ. Well, I really don't want any of you guys thinking that I don't want to do the video or anything like that. It's just that I've been extremely busy of late; and also, this would be my first YouTube video. And I'm not sure about other people, but for me, it is extremely important to get as many things right the first time. I really want to do things with excellence. So, the video will come out soon, just give me some time guys. Until then, keep working hard Bros!
Well it's fine. As long as it's professionally made we don't have a problem. Like you said excellence. Can't wait to see it, I will do one too soon enough, just need to work on my muscle ups & pistol squats form more (I still use a resistance band for muscle ups, I can only do 2-3 muscle ups without one, after all I weigh 80kg with 16% bf so I'm kinda still overweight, but no excuses haha). Hey Chris, I have a question for you. Do you think it's a better idea for me to film my transformation video first and then film the requirements after that? It's just that I would really like for my first video to be my transformation video, like you. Then after that I can upload the requirements video, what do you think? Should I wait or do the requirements now? Salute!
Do the transformation video first. As I was tracking your progress since you started and you kept moving forward. The transformation video needs edit so start by it. The requirements video can be filmed with just a small title and timer edit. Finally bro and good luck!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I'm still hitting the (24,25,26) levels. I've been stuck here for a while because I simply don't have the skill to progress to level 27. I do have the strength to do it, yet I lack the skill for the one-arm chin-ups, and in fact, the back clap pull-ups on level 24 as well. I would just simply switch the back clap pull-ups for 6 sets of 12 wide pull-ups, simple enough. Other than that, I'm still trying to get the one-arm chin-up form so that I can move on to level 27. I know I should have been doing this for the whole year; but I guess I get lazy sometimes too, lol. Anyway, I want to offer a tip for all those Beasts who want to do a transformation video. Nutrition and Cardio. Now I'm not going to lie to you guys saying I was ace the whole year round. But! I will tell you that you don't only want size, but you also want to lower your body fat . Why? Your gains will look even MORE impressive. For these next two months until my transformation video, I'll be going hard on the fat-burning routines, and giving 110% on every workouts to the point to where I have given my best. Especially on core, I've been doing 2x if not 3x of the required exercises, sets, and reps. Now like I said, this is something that we should all be doing not only for the last two months but for the year as a whole. Anyway, I hope to be in the best shape for this December, wish me luck! Great bro. Can't wait to see it. I agree with you about the new video that it answers the questions on the forum. I'm looking to get down to 10% till my birthday which is 26th December, like you said Cardio, I will go hard on fat burning routines too. I don't know my current body fat percentage, I will check it in a few days, but my weight loss has stopped this past few weeks, maybe I've been gaining some muscle and losing fat at the same time who knows. All I know is 5 months ago I had 94-95KG and now I'm down to 81KG and I have 2 pictures showing the before-after, if you want to see them I can show them haha, and my goal is 76KG at 10% body fat for now, still heavy as hell, which really makes exercises harder :(, but after that I will gain some muscle and be ready for the transformation video. I decided that I will do 4-7 cardio sessions a week (about 15-20 minutes a day), eat extremely clean, cut out some carbs, workout really hard and just get in the best shape like you said. And wait.. You can do back clap pull ups? That's insane bro.
Hahahaha, well, the truth is I haven't tried yet. I'm going to try to do them and then get back to you. The reason why I haven't tried them is that if I fail(lol) my landing zone isn't that safe hahaha. And the bar is about 3 meters high, so I have to get a chair to even work out. So I would have to get up, remove the chair somehow and if I fail, the fall isn't that nice. But I'll try anyway. And sure bro, I would like to see your progress photos!πͺπΌ
Well, good luck and be careful. You don't want to do something really stupid after all and question yourself How did I get injured or something lol. Whenever I try stuff like that and new tricks I usually put really soft things under the bar, so really the only way I can injure myself is if I hit myself on the bar.. If you don't feel like trying it, don't, training smarter is more important. Oh, well I just decided that I'll make a topic on my birthday where I will post my progress haha. :)
